Big Train Keeps Rolling

COLUMBUS, Ga. — The East Alabama Big Train celebrated its 50th win in style, beating the Windward Blue 9-2 on the second day of the Great South League tournament.Malcom Thomas picked up the win, tossing six strong innings and striking out three.The offense was led by a quartet of hitters. Qualon Millinder was 2-for-3 with two runs, Jono Waugh was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI, Saxon Butler was 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI and Andrew Brook was 2-for-3 with two runs and four RBIs.The Big Train will take on the Thomasville Bombers in further tournament action today at 9 a.m. at Golden Park in Columbus.
